Our Signature Grinders

A small, deliberate range. Each mill is turned, engraved and burr-fitted by hand — then calibrated for exactly one job.

Our Heritage

More Than Just a Grinder

On a corner of Eminönü, by the spice market, the Sözen family has been turning brass into grinders since 1870. Five generations later, the burrs are still set by hand and tested by ear — the same way a good cezve of coffee has always been judged.

Ottoman Inspirations brings that workshop to your counter, as the family’s exclusive home in North America.

The Grind Guide

Every grinder is calibrated for a single texture. Choose by what you reach for most.

For the Cezve

Turkish Coffee

Powder-fine, the way a proper Türk kahvesi demands. One turn of the crank, calibrated for the foam.

For the Table

Black Pepper

From cracked-coarse to a fragrant dust. The burr holds its setting, dinner after dinner.

For Wellness

Black Seed

Çörek otu — nigella — ground fresh to keep the oil and aroma exactly where they belong.

What People Say

Loved Across the Table

From first-generation kitchens to brand-new ones — the cup tastes the same.

The grind on my Turkish coffee is finally right — like the cup my grandmother made in Izmir. Built like a tank, beautiful on the counter.

Bought the pepper mill, came back for the gift set. You can feel the brass. This is the real thing, not a souvenir.

Five generations of know-how is not marketing — it's in the crank. Smoothest manual grinder I've owned.
